General Purpose Trailers
Each of the trailers in the Richardson General Purpose range is fitted with hydraulic couplings and auto reversing brakes, to meet EEC Directive number 71/320.
For durability, our steelwork is fully welded and hot dip galvanised. Capacity and loading are made easy with 16" galvanised steel sides on all models. A drop tailgate and full road lighting is standard. Full width galvanised beam axles and independent suspension ensure easy towing and a smooth ride for every load.
Single Axle range
Each of the trailers in the Richardson Single Axle General Purpose range of trailers is versatile and robust, designed to stand the rigours of commercial use yet towed by most family cars and light vans. They are strong and can carry a useful load, yet are light and small enough to be driven and reversed into the most inaccessible areas.
Twin Axle range
The Twin Axle range offers the ease and speed of low-loading, generous capacity and robust build. Our trailers lighten your load with easy and economic goods handling.
Box Van Range
A Box Van from Richardson Trailers is a versatile workhorse that is useful for both work and leisure activities. Our box vans are light and easy to tow and offer the additional capacity of a van with the benefits of a car. The front section is aerodynamically designed to minimise wind resistance and maximise fuel consumption, and its Avonride suspension units provide a stable, smooth ride for towing and for your cargo.
A box van is the ideal way to transport goods and equipment; it can also be used for display, demonstration, mobile workshop and sales purposes. Amongst our clients who use a Richardson Trailer Box Van to maximum effect are health authorities; local authorities; the MOD and carpet wholesalers.

The 14ft standard trailer is ideal for small garages, and for transporting vintage cars and tractors. With a fixed platform and ramps fitted as standard.
Tilt Bed Transporters
The Tilt Bed Trailer is available in two sizes, with the option to upgrade to 2600kg if needed. This trailer is often supplied to main car dealers, motor sport and prestige garages for the movement of vehicles. It can easily be operated by one person with very little effort, no ramps are required. It is also ideal for recovering non-runners and accident damaged vehicles. Standard features include hydraulic tilt, winch post, underdeck rope hoops and lockable coupling.
Heavy Duty Vehicle Transporter
The HD60 is the largest vehicle transporter in our range and is designed for professionals in the Ground Maintenance and Agricultural and Machinery sectors.
Robust and sturdy, it is rated to 3.5 tonnes with a maximum load capacity of 2.65 tonnes, and is ideal for transporting compact tractors, ATVs, ride-on mowers etc.
The HD60 has a low loading height, with a 4 foot beavertail, and a 12 foot deck. It is particularly popular with Recovery Specialists. Standard features include a heavy duty jockey wheel, flat bed and ramps with underdeck stowage. An exceptionally good value for money trailer.
